Our story
A Shop That Treats Your Car Like Its Own
Proline Automotive is a family-run repair shop in El Cajon, where the owner and his son work side by side on every vehicle that comes through the door. Customers keep coming back because they know exactly what they're getting: straight answers, fair prices, and work that holds up.
We handle everything from oil changes to complicated jobs, including clutch upgrades and turbo repairs that other shops got wrong the first time. When a customer's front pipe was rattling after a botched clutch job elsewhere, we tracked down the real problem, ordered the part the same day, and stayed after closing so they wouldn't have to miss more work.
Whether you're a longtime customer or just passing through El Cajon with car trouble, we'll take care of you like you're one of ours.
- Family-operated shop
- Fair, transparent pricing
- Fixes complex jobs other shops get wrong
- Personal, hands-on service
What customers say
“I can't recommend proline enough. I bring all of my vehicles here because I can trust the crew and not have to worry. You always get great treatment and beyond fair pricing for the quality they deliver. I will be a customer for life”
“Was in a hurry traveling through El Cajon and my O2 sensor went out causing my engine to run too rich. Lans was super helpful and understanding, let me use their parking and was very accommodating. Definitely some good guys here.”
“I came in for an oil change without having made an appointment. They were very busy at opening time with vehicles scheduled for work but took care of me then and there. Always great service here. Highest recommendation for this shop and their staff.”
